Ladies of the Yuendumu area collect jinti-parnta far west of Yuendumu at Karnta Karlangu which is near another sacred site Mina Mina. Jinti-parnta is a native truffle which grows in the sand hills after the winter rains. To cook the truffle, ladies have to squeeze excess water out of the truffle there are then put on the coals of the fire
