Doreen Dickson Nakamarra is a Walpiri woman who was born in 1956,at the remote community of Willowra, located 250km northwest of Alice Springs. Doreen is related to the recognised artists, Mary Nabarula and Janet long Nakamarra. Doreen is a third generation artist and with her skills and talents she is able to tranpose her family’s dreaming that have been passed down to her, onto canvas. With the distinct Walpiri style, she uses a range of enriching and delicate colours that has allowed her to communicate important food gathering areas, sacred waterholes, and ceremony sites.

Stretcheing and/or framing can be organised on request once you have purchased your piece, pricing starts at around 1/3 of the artwork price (on average).

This process generally takes around 3-4 weeks.

Framing options are Tasmanian Oak, White or Black painted pine.
