Damien Marks Tjuangala and Yilpi Marks Atira are both from remote communities in Australia. Mr Marks Tjangala is from Haast Bluff community “Ikuntji” in the Northern Territory( 227kms west of Alice Springs), while MsMarks Atria comes from Pukatja a small and remote community in South Australia which is about 1400kms away from Adelaide.
Both of these artist come from families who are artistically gifted and had spent their time learning from their families as well as their local art centers.
